Our Story
Built On A Simple Idea
Happy 2 Help Moving was built on a simple idea — moving should feel calm, not chaotic. Owner Devin Vangel founded the company in St. Augustine, Florida in 2023 to bring a more personal, careful, neighbor-first approach to moving across St. Johns County and Northeast Florida.
We're not a franchise. We're not a gig app. We're your neighbors.

Compare Happy 2 Help
How does Happy 2 Help compare to other Northeast Florida movers?
Happy 2 Help Moving is a locally owned, owner-operated moving company in St. Augustine, FL — founded in 2023 by Devin Vangel and built on one accountable team running every job, not a franchise dispatcher routing your move to whoever's available. Most of the larger movers you'll compare us to in the Jacksonville and St. Johns County market — All My Sons, national van-line agents, and the multi-decade local operators like Ravan Moving and 1st Coast Express — operate on different models: All My Sons brings franchise-brand consistency and a larger fleet; Ravan and 1st Coast bring deeper tenure on First Coast roads. Newer entrants like MoveBright lean into modern booking tech. Each has its place.
Where Happy 2 Help wins: every quote and every problem call goes to Devin Vangel personally, direct-service crews end to end (no broker handoffs, no day-laborer subcontractors), and HOA gate-pass + historic-district workflow already built into the booking process. Where the bigger names win: more trucks on a peak Saturday in May or October, and dedicated storage facilities if you need 30+ days of transit storage (Ravan in particular bundles storage). If you want to see the full apples-to-apples breakdown, read our honest comparison guide of six St. Johns County movers, or browse our reviews page. We'll never tell you we're the right call for every move — we'll tell you when we are.

Local Knowledge Matters
Movers Who Actually Know Northeast Florida
Moving across St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Jacksonville, or anywhere on the First Coast goes smoother with a company that already knows the streets. Happy 2 Help Moving is based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and we move families across Northeast Florida every week.
First Coast moves come with quirks that out-of-area movers don't get. Narrow brick-paved streets and weight-restricted bridges in St. Augustine's historic district, gated-community HOA approval workflows in Nocatee, Palencia, and Ponte Vedra, hurricane-window scheduling from June through November, and the snowbird half-year cycle — October–November inbound and March–April outbound — all need a crew that's done it before. We have.
We're not a national franchise reading Google Maps for the first time. We're owner-operated by Devin Vangel, licensed and insured, and we move households across St. Johns, Duval, Clay, Nassau, Flagler, Putnam, and north Volusia counties. One Northeast Florida crew, start to finish — no brokered handoffs.
From St. Augustine historic homes to Ponte Vedra coastal estates to Nocatee new-builds and Amelia Island beach-side cottages, Happy 2 Help shows up on time, treats your stuff like ours, and quotes honestly with no surprise fees on move day.

Leadership & Vision
Meet Devin Vangel: Our Founder's Commitment
“I founded Happy 2 Help Moving in 2023 after watching too many friends and neighbors get burned by national chains and gig-app dispatchers who treated a household move like a one-time drop-off. Northeast Florida deserves a moving company that actually shows up on time, actually protects your belongings, and actually answers the phone when you call.”
Devin runs Happy 2 Help Moving out of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL — the truck parks here, the crew clocks in here, and Devin or a senior estimator personally handles every quote. The company is licensed and insured (USDOT 4480679, FMCSA SAFER active), and operates under the standard most large chains promise but rarely deliver: one team, one phone number, no brokered handoffs, no surprise subcontractors.
“My promise to you is a moving experience that not only meets but genuinely exceeds your expectations — every St. Johns County and Jacksonville move, every snowbird relocation, every time.”
— Devin Vangel, Founder & Owner
